The Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education of Thessaly (P.D.E.Th) (https://thess.pde.sch.gr) is a decentralized regional administrative structure of the Greek Ministry of Education and

Religious Affairs. PDE of Thessaly has got under its supervision all the General, Vocational and Special Schools, for Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education, of four big municipalities of central Greece (Larisa, Volos, Trikala, Karditsa).

The Regional Directorate’s main scope is referred to the next points:

• implementation of educational policy
• manage, control, co-ordinate the educational and administrative operation of primary and secondary schools and other educational structures in the region.
• are responsible for the allocation of human resources
• direct, co-ordinate and monitor school consultants
• are responsible for in-service training and teacher development
• conduct educational research
• collaborate with major stakeholders for innovation in the field of education
• organize educational meetings, day events and conferences

PDETh organisation has been expertised in European projects and recently was reinforced with high qualifications administrative staff. As the Regional Directorate is responsible for the educational policy, its administrative and educational staff has collaborated for several years with local universities, scientific organizations, local consultants in different educational areas, parent’s associations, on relevant issues, such as training methodologies, production of educational material, confrontation of social problems as bullying, school dropout, pupils behavioural problems, autism in childhood and adolecence, inclusion education policy, e.t.c.

Associazione COAT – Centro Orientametno Ausili Tecnologici Onlus
Italy

Associazione COAT – Centro Orientamento Ausili Tecnologici Onlus, has the mission to support the application of technological aids in the field of disability. The main role is to integrate teams in healthcare or school context to develop the best ways to overcome impairments by use of technological solutions (low-tec and high-tech). In the past 9 years, COAT became the Umbria Region reference for the technological support for AAC solutions as they are applied to various type of pathologies/diagnosis. Into specific, COAT is the main regional reference for assistive solutions for ALS, SM, Stroke survivals, Cerebral Palsy… persons living at their homes. Technical equipe is working in a domiciliary context asking the collaboration of the person and his/her family to decide best options during counseling meeting.

The team is composed by 6 people of different specialization (manager-technical coordinator, occupational therapist, electronic engineer, sw developer, ict expert, psychologist) which is going to “integrate” the team already in place on “case by case” policy.

COAT is founder of the Italian network of counselling centres for technology and disability (GLIC-www.centriausili.it) which is recognized by Italian Ministry of Health. Each centre acts on regional basis, into specific COAT is covering the Region Umbria (Centre of Italy).

COAT has collaborated with the University of Molise and Museo Sannitico of Campobasso (Italy) in a project aimed at improving museum accessibility for people with sensory disabilities (blind and deaf). COAT has a specific competence in the field of accessibility issues applied to different type of disabilities. It means the design of accessible environments as well as human-machine interfaces. It has several collaborations within AAATE (Association for Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe) on the adaptation of off-the shelf (commercial) systems and specific AT solutions and their connection.

COAT personnel have already collaborated with the University of Molise and Museo Sannitico of Campobasso (Italy) in a project aimed at improving museum accessibility for people with sensory disabilities (blind and deaf). The realization has been awarded with the Medal of the President of Italian Republic in 2017.

Furthermore, Blue Room Innovation is part of the Open Innovation Ecosystem of The CircularLab of Ecoembes (www.ecoembes.es) that offers solutions related to Citizen Awareness and Awareness in the process of the digital and ecological transition. In this context, we collaborate in the pioneering technological initiative with the aim of increasing public awareness of recycling in Spain: RECICLOS. A project that investigates new alternatives to mobilize citizens in recycling, using technology. Specifically, its purpose is to demonstrate how technology can help citizens recycle more and better, using incentives and gamification to achieve this goal. In other words, make our recycling habit “digital” and rewarded.

Blue Room Innovation is the technological partner in your project and can contribute in the following general areas of competence with a special focus on:

• help understand why and how the incentives schemes can help to rise the environmental awareness among adults, especially disadvantaged and low-educated adults, with a view to encourage behavioral change towards re-using materials bringing in the good practices

• organize open innovation workshops in order to activate the citizens through participative innovation processes. – create a platform to collect good practices related to environmental awareness and make the promotion of sustainable life-style choices on hand of real examples

• co-create the multi-stakeholder methodology

• participate in all other relevant project activities.

 

Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’ Olot

Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Olot is the main Design and Arts & Crafts school of the region of Girona (Catalonia, Spain). Since its foundation, it has maintained an active participation in the social, educational, economic and cultural life. The school is in Olot, a city with a population of over 34,000 inhabitants. On 20 June 1990 the school became part of the Catalonia official network of art schools with the name of Escola d’Arts Applicades i Oficis Artístics d’Olot; human resources and management switched to the Generalitat de Catalunya. Since the 2003–2004 academic year the school has become Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Olot, by completing the training with a Bachelor in Interior Design. Since the 2007–08 academic year the school also teaches a Bachelor of Graphic Design. Since 2010–11 it became one of seven ESDAP (Escola Superior de Disseny i Arts Plàstiques) and began to teach undergraduate Design (adapted to the European Higher Education Area). INTEGRA, Associació Discapacitats Intel-lectuals

INTEGRA, Associació Discapacitats Intel·lectuals. Joan XXIII shcool is a regional educational center contracted by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya and owned by Integra (non profit Organization). The school serve students from 3 to 21 years old, with mental disabilities in the infant, primary, secondary stages and there is also the Bridge Program, for the transition of work and adult life for students between 16 and 21 years old. Main objectives of the school are:

– Be an active part of the education system that covers specific needs when needed, both with human and material resources, as well as conceptual.
– Expand services and extend them to the needs of the area. – Implement a new school concept, called the Reference Center, which is the platform that allows us to create, design and develop specific support programs and services to respond to the needs that arise in the area.
– Be an umbrella that provides answers to children with educational needs in the region, directly in school and offering support services for inclusion in ordinary schools.

70 students and 32 professionals participate in different lines offered by the centre:

University Lumière Lyon 2 (ULL2)
France

The University Lumière Lyon 2 (ULL2) is one of Europe’s leading Humanities and Social Sciences universities, thank both to the dynamism and scope of its research and to the quality of its education programs. It was founded in 1973 as a public institution of scientific, cultural and professional nature. Located in Lyon, the second largest university-city in France after Paris, the ULL2 offers a wide range of courses in the fields of human and social sciences, psychology, languages, literature, the arts, law, economy and management, and information technology, from the first year of undergraduate studies to the doctoral thesis. In figures, the university’s main and satellite campuses are home to approximately 30.000 students and almost 2,000 members of staff in 6 faculties, 5 institutes and 1 technological institute. The ULL2 delivers 35 bachelor’s degrees, 20 vocational undergraduate degrees, 166 master’s degrees, 10 specialised undergraduate technological degrees, 50 specialised university diplomas (DU) and 40 PhD programmes. The ULL2 has a steadfastly international outlook and boasts a vast array of partnerships: it is party to almost 560 cooperation agreements with 370 foreign universities and offers around 30 dual degree programmes diplomas in conjunction with its international partners. ULL2 plays host to around 5000 overseas undergraduate and postgraduate students. The ULL2 is coordinator of several European projects such as 3 Capacity building (MASTIS, SHYFTE, SUNSpACe), 2 Strategic partnership (CODES and SHAKIN’) and 2 International Credit Mobility. The ULL2 is also partner of 1 Strategic partnership in the field of professional training (RTV KEY COMPETENCES IN MEDIA) and 1 Capacity Building (DOCHUB). The ULL2 has also been part of several ERASMUS MUNDUS and TEMPUS projects. For all these projects, the ULL2 International Office (IO), in coordination with other university services, provides real support for the administrative and financial management of the project.

It is located in Greece. Its office is located at 13 Ippodamou Street, PC 41448 in Larissa. Consists of: educators, educators and administrators of all levels, scientists, researchers, theorists, physicists and specialists of all categories, from executives of innovative, research and all kinds of other enterprises, from students, research organizations and all kinds of natural, legal having a common interest in the design, research development, evaluation, promotion and implementation of development, cooperation and innovation actions.

The Union intends:
I. To enhance knowledge and to develop ideas, initiatives and collaboration.
Ii. In the dissemination of knowledge, science and culture with principles that promote humanity and respect.
iii. To provide opportunities and opportunities to its members so that they contribute to the good of the wider society.
iv. The need for all members to participate in groups that serve the objectives of the Union.
v. Ιn the acquisition by members of culture and ideas regarding Cooperation, Science, Research, Education, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Politics, Culture, Industrial Innovation, Investment, Trade, Technology.
vi. Utilizing research ideas that contribute to improving people’s living and working conditions but also creating new opportunities, products and services.

To support Greek and European citizens as well as independent Scientists and Researchers to participate in research and efforts that have a positive impact on everyone’s daily life (indicatively, the following areas are mentioned: health, food security, sustainable use of biological resources, energy, transport, communications, climate, social inclusion, security, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, education, culture, etc.).
Ix. In its activity and cooperation with all levels of Education (private and public), with associations of related or other subject, and in general with companies, institutions and organizations in Greece and in Europe.
x. In its activity in any way, including the methods of distance but also the use of technical audiovisual media, in Scientific Research and innovation in various fields both in Greece and in the European Union.
xi. In the investigation and introduction of new teaching methods in primary, secondary, post-secondary and tertiary education, aiming at scientific and research cultivation and the inspiration of trainees for research and high technology.
